Welcome to my 53rd Newsletter, My Friends, on the Eve of My 54th Birthday!
Well, you’ve heard me say it. My goal for 54 is to take my writing to the stage with a one-woman show performed in Cork and Cleveland. Of course, I’ll be taking you, my beloved readers, along for the journey.
This is the last newsletter in a series called Tastebuds: A Retrospective, where I shared four journal entries every Friday that covered Covid, the Collapse of Tastebuds Restaurant, and the Move to Ireland in 2020.
Next week, I will begin a new series of videos where I read from my journals and share stories about our first year in Ireland, our first impressions, the challenges we faced, and how we made Midleton our home. I will introduce you to the people we met, show you the foods we ate, and the scenery that swept us off our feet!
It will be good practice for my show, filming myself, working on how I look and sound, and constantly improving, hopefully! While I will post the occasional free newsletter, this upcoming series will be exclusively for paid subscribers only. The insight and information I’ll be sharing are deeply personal and will be incredibly helpful for those of you who have expressed interest in moving to Ireland or simply hearing more of my story.
